P&L turned two yesterday. As their party was planned for the weekend, DH & I took them to Cold Stone after dinner. We ordered them one child’s size to share (sweet cream ice cream with strawberries, whipped cream, and yellow cake) – super yummy. But they wouldn’t have anything to do with it! They were way more interested in running circles up and around the handicapped ramp. (We’ll put the video on YouTube- email Cyn if you want the link). They each tasted the ice cream but refused to stop and eat any. After about ½ hour of literally watching them run circles in the store, we headed out - making a quick stop at the grocery next door. While they totally ignored the ice cream, they went crazy for the orange cherry tomatoes I put in the cart. They couldn’t wait- P&L each ate about 3-4 before we left the store, and then another 2-3 on the way home. What priorities! - I can hardly believe they're related to me!

Oh my!! L looks so grown up there! You know that's what happens when you introduce ice cream before a year old, they'll choose tomatoes! They must make such fun everywhere they go! Happy Birthday 'babies'!
Wait- they didn't have ice cream until they were AFTER a year old!!
